Mark
has illustrated more than 20 books for children and teens and for the children's magazines Appleseeds and Cobblestone (Carus Publishing), which focus on American history. His illustrations have also appeared
in the Carus magazines Calliope, Cricket, Faces, Footsteps, and Odyssey and Pockets (Upper
Room).
He
teaches a course in children 's book illustration at the Art School at the Austin Museum of Art.
